Our highly experienced team, led by former c-level executives, combines technical expertise and skills, business knowledge and acumen, and deep industry experience to help clients achieve their goals.


A chartered accountant, Christian has held senior corporate finance positions both on the client side with Macquarie Bank and in professional services at Grant Thornton, where he was involved in a series of noteworthy deals that have shaped today’s asset finance market. Christian also brings international general management insights, having been Global Managing Director of Datatec Financial Services.


A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Roger has been engaged in the asset based finance and automotive leasing industry for over 45 years holding a number of C–level positions with major financial institutions, both in the UK and Internationally.

Most recently, Roger was CEO of Maxxia one of the fastest-growing lending, broking, and fleet management groups in the UK; in five years taking the group from a greenfield start-up to originating over £600m of new business per annum and a lending portfolio of £350m.

Roger has led numerous M&A transactions, on the both the buy and sell side.


Peter has wide-ranging strategic change experience, including as Head of Strategy for RBS Business & Commercial Banking and COO of Investec’s Asset Finance Group. Respected for driving strategy and new ways of doing business with clarity of vision and practical delivery, 

He has led initiatives ranging from market entry to portfolio analysis and divestment, delivery of M&A support services, new business models, business transformation and fintech partner selection.
Peter Cottle


A highly experienced and well-respected industry expert, and a former Chair of the FLA Motor Division, Peter held commercial leadership roles in Lombard and Bank of Scotland with responsibility for a number of OEM and retailer relationships, including Managing Director of Jaguar Cars Finance and PSA Finance. 

He is an active participant in industry initiatives, to which he brings deep product, sales, compliance, and risk insights.
Simon Potts Finativ


An accomplished technology leader having held global roles covering IT strategy and digital transformation in the asset finance industry. 

Spending 24 years at IBM Financing, Simon held worldwide responsibility for AI, Automation and Workflow, Analytics, Information and Sales Enablement Tools. Recognised as a thought leader and major contributor to IBM Financing IT strategy, functional architecture and strategic system deployments. 

Simon is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.​

After nearly 30 years of operational automotive and captive financial services experience, including Black Horse, Daimler and Allianz, since 2016 Simon has spent his time in consultancy and advisory roles for a number of OEM and automotive financial services clients. 

Much of Simon’s experience has been accumulated in major, international RfP and implementation settings, both as client and service provider.


A strategic leader with over 20 years of experience, Louise Ikonomides excels at driving operational excellence and business transformation for financial institutions. As a COO and Managing Director for fintech and asset finance firms, she has led high-performing teams to increase efficiency, mitigate risk, and deliver innovative solutions.

With her astute understanding of complex lending environments, Louise is trusted by Tier 1 and Tier 2 institutions seeking operational excellence. She has achieved Fitch ABPS -2 audit ratings by instilling disciplined compliance. 

Companies that have benefitted from Louise's strategic leadership include Close Brothers, Investec, Commerzbank, British Business Bank, BLME, PEAC, Triplepoint, Klarna, White Oak, and Lombard. 

Her unique combination of strategic vision, financial services expertise, and commitment to operational rigour position Louise as an invaluable asset. As part of the Finativ team Louise will focus on operational reviews, process design and improvement, system and standards implementations, portfolio outsourcing, due diligence and business integration services.
Phil Gerrard Finativ


Phil is an experienced CEO with a focus on restructuring, renewables financing, M&A, and automotive finance. He has successfully restructured businesses at a financial and operational level, including in the asset, agricultural/renewables and retail motor finance sectors.

A key focus over the last 10 years has been on the renewables sector, including leading the UK's largest funder of renewable biogas projects.

As such, his extensive expertise in renewable energy financing is of great value to companies developing and implementing their ESG, sustainable infrastructure and asset lending strategies.
Jeff Longhurst Finativ


Jeff has accumulated over 40 years of experience in the invoice finance and asset-based lending industries, with CEO/managing director positions in clearing bank subsidiaries, specialist asset-based lenders and independent invoice finance providers. 

Jeff is a former chairman and CEO of the Asset Based Finance Association (UK trade association for invoice finance) as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the EU Federation for Factoring and Commercial Finance.
Pieter-Paul Barker Finativ


An internationally experienced technology leader, Pieter-Paul provides end-to-end technology support covering analysis, system/partner selection, design and implementation.

Pieter-Paul has extensive experience in the IT and financial services sectors. He has held senior positions at both White Clarke Group and FCA Bank, where he was responsible for the implementation of major systems projects.

He has a proven track record in leading sizeable multi-country developer and analyst teams, and in implementing complex systems and processes. 
Richard Carter Finativ


A highly experienced financial services professional with over 40 years of experience. Richard has held leadership roles at Bibby Financial Services and HSBC with responsibilities across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.

Richard has led operational teams across trade, vehicle, asset, and receivables finance as well as payments. Throughout his career, Richard has demonstrated his ability to lead teams, drive growth and improve business performance.


Formerly Head of Professional Services Programmes & Implementation, Large Enterprise Operations at Xerox Europe, with extensive experience in large project implementation, business analysis and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Mark leads our activities in operational effectiveness and efficiency, including implementation of emerging technologies for process automation.
